JEMD FILMS is founded in 2000 in Caracas - Venezuela, as a production company and rental. In 2001, it opens a branch in New York City, named JEMD FILMS INTERNATIONAL INC, working in many projects in this city, such as Short Films (“EL CHANCECITO” - The little Chance. S16mm. Dir. Efterpi Charalambidis; “TATTOOS”. S16mm. Dir. Scott Lemly; and “STRAY’S”. S16mm. Dir. Linda Rabiet) and TV programs (“SOLO LEYENDAS” – Just Legends. 1st. Season for HBO Latino; and “REVOLUCION TV” – Revolution TV. Weekly TV program. Latino Television Networks).In 2005, it’s Founder, José E. Martínez, returns to Caracas to work as Producer in some Feature Films. Once he established again in Venezuela, JEMD FILMS, and after a few years as a rental, it starts again its production activities. Between a few Co-productions (“ALLA NOS VEMOS” – See you There, “PERSONAJES Y ALGO MÁS” – Characters, Actors and More, “OPERAS PRIMAS EN EL CINE” -JEMD FILMS, is involve in many productions as a production or co-production
