Description
Bionaut is a fully integrated Czech film and TV production company based in Prague and founded in 1999. The company produces fiction, documentary and animated films and television series. It is now one of the top Czech productions companies in the country.In 2011, Bionaut won 5 Czech Film Awards for its film Walking Too Fast and in 2018 won Best Czech TV series for it's remake of Life on Mars.
Objective
In 2014, Bionaut expanded to include three new labels to support animation, documentaries and genre films and set up its own animation studio called Kredenc. In 2017 sister companies in Poland (Kosmonaut), Slovakia (Raketa) and Serbia (Aeronaut) were created to form Planet Bionaut - an integrated Central European network.. Planet Bionaut focuses on development, crowdfunding, production, postproduction, marketing and distribution support of several projects every year.
