Description

A.S.A.P. Films is an independent production company created in 2003 and jointly created by the producer Cedomir Kolar, filmmaker Danis Tanovic and producer Marc Baschet. The company’s production philosophy reflects the previous work done by its principals, meaning independent film production of films by authors from different parts of the world. The first film produced by the company is the film “L’enfer” (2005) by Danis Tanovic. In 2005 A.S.A.P. Films co-produced Benjamin Filipovic’s film “Well Tempered Corpses” which received support from the Hubert Bals Fund in 2001. Marion Hänsel’s film “Si le vent soulève le sable” (2006), is a 2006 A.S.A.P. Films’ co-production with Man’s Films Productions from Belgium and was selected for the CineMart in 2005. In 2007 the company will produce various titles including Aktan Arym Kubat’s film “The Light” and Danis Tanovic’s Bosnian film “Circus Columbia”. Before founding A.S.A.P.
